  4.  This program is very easy to use.  Here's a brief description of
  5.  the command options:
  6.  
  7.  
  8.          [F]...Choose an ARChive filename.
  9.  
  10.  Choosing an archive is the first thing to do.  All subsequent
  11.  operations will be performed on the archive you have specified
  12.  until you choose another one using the [F] option again.
  13.  
  14.  When you enter an archive filename, leave out the .ARC extension
  15.  -- the program supplies it for you automatically.  So, to choose
  16.  EXAMPLE.ARC, you just type EXAMPLE (upper or lower case -- it
  17.  doesn't matter).

  19.          [L]...List files in ******.ARC
  20.  
  21.  Once you have chosen an archive, a new menu appears.  On this
  22.  menu, the [L] option will give you a verbose listing of the
  23.  files in the archive, just like the -V option of the ARC program
  24.  itself.  You'll see the names of all the files in the archive,
  25.  their sizes and dates, and other information.

  27.          [D]...Display a file from ******.ARC
  28.  
  29.  If you wish to read one of the files in an archive that you have
  30.  listed, the [D] option allows you to do so.  You'll be asked for
  31.  the name of the file you wish to read, and then it will be
  32.  displayed to you one page at a time.  If you wish, at the bottom
  33.  of any page you can tell the program to do a non-stop listing by
  34.  choosing the [S]croll option, which can then be aborted at any
  35.  time with Control-K.

  37.  The program will not allow you to display binary files, such as
  38.  EXE or COM files.

  40.          [H]...Help with using ArcDoor.

  42.  Brings up the help file that you are reading right now.
  43.  
  44.          [X]...Expert mode toggle. (menus/no menus)

  46.  Turns the menus off and on again.  Once you have learned the
  47.  commands, this will speed things up a bit.

  49.          [Q]...Return to PCBoard main menu.

  51.  When you are all finished, choose [Q] to return to the PCBoard
  52.  program itself.  It takes a few seconds for PCBoard to reload,
  53.  so be patient.  You'll be asked for your logon password for
  54.  PCBoard.  After you supply your password, you'll be back to the
  55.  PCBoard command prompts.
